The Commonwealth Bank has announced a new initiative for online small and medium businesses, allowing them to develop, integrate and manage their online shop front, including online payment facilities.
Commonwealth Bank eVolve is a transactional services platform designed for small and medium business owners who want a versatile online payment facility as well as a self-customisable online shop front.
Doing business online is becoming increasingly attractive to small business in the current climate, and they are looking for a cost effective and comprehensive e-commerce solution says Commonwealth Bank executive general manager local business banking, Symon Brewis-Weston.
“For small businesses, online selling can not only enhance their business capability but also be a cost-effective solution given the self-service nature of online shopping.”
Commonwealth Bank general manager merchant services, Dominic White, said that the Commonwealth Bank eVolve is designed to be “a simple, low-cost way for small businesses to get onto the web in a way that works for them.”
