Drive Yello, the app-driven start-up that lets food services outsource and manage delivery jobs, has partnered with Menulog to enable more restaurants in the latter’s network to offer delivery.
The partnership will also provide Menulog customers with access to Drive Yello’s last mile technology, allowing them to track their order from the time it leaves the restaurant.
Steve Fanale, a serial entrepreneur and co-founder of Drive Yello, said: “For a start-up delivery business, partnering with the market leader in online food ordering is huge. We believe this will transform our business and we’re excited to develop the partnership to bring people across the country more exciting food delivery innovations. With our technology and Menulog’s extensive restaurant database, Australians will be able to enjoy a greater range of top quality cuisine, knowing it will be delivered quickly and securely.”
Alistair Venn, Managing Director, Menulog added: “Menulog and Drive Yello share enormous synergy, with each brand providing a different side of the value proposition for Australian businesses and consumers. Menulog aims to make food discovery exciting for all Australians by providing a huge range of options for people to choose from. In turn, our restaurant partners have access to millions of hungry Australians across the country. Team this with Drive Yello’s goal of facilitating seamless delivery for local restaurants and you have a winning combination.”
Launched in Sydney in 2015 and Melbourne this year, Drive Yello is a delivery management platform and marketplace that connects restaurants, cafés and other food services with qualified drivers. When a job is posted to the Yello app, businesses are provided with a trackable driver and vehicle.
Fanale recently spoke with Dynamic Business about his extensive start-up portfolio including Drive Yello, which he co-founded with food business owner Johnny Timbs.
