Micro businesses targeted by new Fuji Xerox printer range

Fuji Xerox have launched a new range of printers targeting the SME and micro-business market.

In an exciting launch in Melbourne’s upmarket suburb Prahran, Fuji Xerox launched its new printer options to a crowd of media and retail customers. With a focus on the micro end of the SME market, as well as inner city and SOHO (small office/home office) operators, Fuji Xerox aim to target this new customer with the range’s various offerings. To encourage new customers, anyone who purchases one of the new printers in the range will be entered into a competition to win a supercar drive day for them and a friend.

In theme with their target audience, Fuji Xerox held the launch in the exclusive RTIST gallery, employing the skills of a collection of street artists to decorate the walls with concept art inspired by the new range and the associated competition.

A jet-black Lamborghini greeted guests at the launch event with some lucky visitors winning the chance to have ride during the evening.

In an attempt to lower business operating costs for SMEs, the four new printers have a variety of functions that aim to bring down the daily spend for small businesses looking at the small printer market.

Two of the printers in the new range offer multifunction abilities: the DocuPrint M355 df monochrome laser printer can also copy, scan and fax as can the M255 z. Both of these devices also have Optical Character Recognition which reads paper documents and transforms them into electronic files.

Guests at the launch were able to see the printers’ technology in action as Peter Blasina, from the GadgetGuy, demonstrated printing directly from a USB plugged straight into the printer. Guests also had the opportunity to recreate the street art by printing off an image reproduction of the street art and reassembling it on the opposite wall.
