Artis Group, announced today that it has acquired IT services firm Help Base as part of its strategy to rapidly expand its managed services business lines with acquisition and organic growth.
After close to five years of organic growth, Artis has completed its first acquisition as part of its growth objectives by integrating Help Base, a NSW based professional services and IT managed services firm.
Help Base, who specialise in providing network management and webhosting services, has a solid base of loyal clients that it has been serving since 1997. As part of the integration with Artis, Help Base Managing Director, Andrew Morrell will take on a senior service delivery role ensuring his clients transition smoothly to the combined entity in the coming weeks.

Artis views the acquisition of Help Base as providing a major boost to its managed services business contributing long term contracts with a variety of clients across multiple industries.

Michael O’Sullivan, Commercial Director at Artis Group, responsible for Artis acquisition plans, was previously involved in the acquisitions of around ten businesses by KAZ Group worth approximately $350 million including Aspect Computing, Australian Administration Services (from AMP Limited), Ausdata and Fundi Software.
The Artis acquisition of Help Base is a cash deal and creates a combined entity exceeding $27M turnover. Through the acquisition all staff will retain their positions and benefits will be achieved through consolidation of back office processing and premises.
