New South Wales business, The blueprint Laboratory, is one of 16 Australian businesses that will share almost $10 million in funding.
The Accelerating Commercialisation grants are part of the Liberal National Government’s Entrepreneurs’ Programme, which provides financial assistance to help businesses take their products to the next level.
Minister for Industry, Science and Technology Karen Andrews said the grants were designed to accelerate the development of high quality projects, which had strong local and export market potential.
“The funding will help improve the capability and competitiveness of these businesses, promoting economic growth and creating Australian jobs,” she said.
Since its inception in 2014, 363 grants worth $181.2 million have been offered to Australian businesses. Each of the grants will be matched by industry funding to cover commercialisation costs and help businesses take their products to market.
Applications for the Accelerating Commercialisation grants can be lodged at any time. For more information or to apply for a grant visit www.business.gov.au/assistance/entrepreneurs-programme
