In order to help local businesses tackle climate change, the NSW Government has partnered with the University of NSW to hold a new program to teach businesses how they can capitalise on Australia’s new low carbon economy.
The two-day Carbon Risk Management Program aims to educate senior managers in both the private and public sectors to become ready for a carbon constrained future, says Deputy Premier and Minister for Climate Change and the Environment, Carmel Tebbutt.
“We want local businesses to have the tools to get in early to make the most of the opportunities, and minimise the risk of climate change.”
The program will be held in Sydney on 22-23 September and 19-20 November 2009.
