The Greater Building Society has moved into the digital age, updating its iPhone app to facilitate improved mobile banking for its customers.
Launching its new mobile banking service, Greater is now ticking all the technology boxes; with Twitter and even a Livechat service.
“We want to ensure we are always using technology to offer services that make it more convenient for customers to do their banking with the Greater,” Greater Building Society Chief Information Officer Bruce White said.
Greater’s improved service gives customers the chance to view account balances and transaction histories, make account transfers and third party payments, and pay bills using BPay.
White said that with the increase of customers from major banks joining the Greater, it was important to make sure mobile banking was at their fingertips.
“Greater can definitely keep up with the big banks and is ahead of some other competitors when it comes to technology.”
With over 250,000 members in NSW, Townsville and Queensland and 67 branches, Greater has an independently determined customer satisfaction rating of 95 percent and was named Australia’s Building Society of the Year in the most recent Australian Banking and Finance Awards.
Customers must be registered with the Greater’s internet banking service to use the mobile banking service.
