Optus iPhone 4 business plans blow away rival Telstra by serving up equivalent value to Optus’ iPhone 4 consumer plans with free iPhone 4 tethering (using the iPhone 4 as a modem).
Optus has been shrewd with its iPhone 4 business cap plan pricing, delivering parity with its consumer plans through the Optus Business Complete Advantage iPhone 4 plans and delivering unlimited call time plans for heavy business users in conjunction with download limits that can only be described as ‘massive’ on its Business Timeless Advantage iPhone 4 plans. Optus include tethering for free on the iPhone 4, which adds $9.95 of value to Optus’ iPhone 4 business plans, as with the iPhone 3G and 3GS Optus charged users a premium to use their included iPhone plan data on downloads while tethering verses when used as a mobile.
Optus, via their Twitter account have confirmed that the iPhone 4G 16Gb will be free on the $59 plans and above, in much the same structure as Optus’ iPhone 4 consumer plan pricing.
Optus Small and Medium Business Marketing Director Phil Offer believes Optus delivers the best value iPhone 4 plans for business customers.
“Optus knows that the iPhone 4 will be a great device for business so we have tailored pricing plans that include generous data and voice allowances allowing business customers to maximise the potential of the iPhone 4.”he said.
Optus splits its iPhone 4 business cap plans into three sub-groups, Business Complete Advantage iPhone 4 plans, which offer basic value, starting at $49 per month through $79 per month and offering 1-2Gb of included data, Business Timeless Advantage iPhone 4 plans steps up the value with unlimited calls (important for all the small business ‘road warriors’ out there) plus between 3 and 10Gb of included data per month from $89 to $129 per month. Finally a range of Optus BYO iPhone 4 plans for business which are closest to the Business Complete Advantage iPhone 4 plans in structure and pricing, but bundle in additional calls and data.
Regarding Optus iPhone 4 plan tethering, from the terms and conditions “All Plans Included Mobile Internet Data Value: can be used to access services on Optus iZoo, browsing the Internet from your mobile and iPhone as Modem access”
