Central Coast-based business, QiQ Communications, has won funding from NSW Trade and Investment to expand into the US and UK markets over the next 12 months.
The funding was awarded to QiQ, which enables businesses and individuals to send mail and documents via 30 worldwide locations via a simple web interface, under the department’s Global Growth program.
The boutique business also offers its business customers an API, which enables them to automate their letter generation, and comprises Docsaway, a PDF-based solution to deliver printed mail, and L-Mail, an HTML-based solution providing the necessary tools to help turn an email into a letter.
Managing Director Peter Harris said the NSW Trade and Investment grant has enabled the business to grow its hybrid mail activities internationally.
“The Global Growth program support is very welcome in bringing forward marketing activities in other countries. We are keen to increase awareness of our services in the USA and UK marketplace and this support is going to assist us in meeting this goal.”
QiQ will also benefit from the strategic planning, market selection and professional guidance provided by NSW Trade and Investment Export Adviser for the Central Coast, Sharon Foster.
“The Global Growth program is ideal for companies that are innovative and have proven export potential, like QiQ Communications,” Foster said.
