An Australian start-up is expanding its business overseas, launching its services in New Zealand.
Ship2Anywhere, an online shipping service, uses its partnerships to offer cheaper prices, and also offers parcel forwarding from the USA.
“When we were looking to expand beyond Australia, our first choice was to launch in New Zealand. We see it as an innovative market full of opportunity with a growing demand for ecommerce,” says Michael Teasdale, director of Ship2Anywhere.
This growth of ecommerce in New Zealand has created demand for affordable national and international shipping.
The service will make it easier for New Zealand SMBs to conduct business online, with Ship2Anywhere having negotiated prices with carriers around the world that will make it cost effective for SMEs to import and export products.
“Businesses can connect to Ship2Anywhere’s shipping system and automate shipping functions, such as generating shipping quotes and making bookings for online shopping,” says Teasdale.
“Not only does it make the shipping process easier and less involved for the business, but it makes it cheaper for the customer.”
Ship2Anywhere was recently named as a start up to watch by BRW, with co-founder Jack Fitzgerald one of Anthill magazine’s 30under30 winners in 2010.
