Research In Motion (RIM) has launched an eBook to celebrate the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day, presenting inspirational experiences of some of the country’s most successful women.
‘On Success: A Woman’s Perspective’ is available in PDF and Kobo formats for download from the BlackBerry Australia website.
The featured women, including Edwina McCann, Hilda Clune, Camilla Freeman-Topper and Jeannie Foster, are all part of the BlackBerry community and come from a range of backgrounds and careers. Some are Australian, and others now call Australia home.
RIM says that although these women are from different walks of life they have three things in common: they’re passionate and love what they do, they have insights, encouraging words and advice to share and they’re avid BlackBerry users.
RIM ANZ Managing Director Adele Beachley also contributed insights and advice, saying “there are so many stories of amazing, courageous, intelligent women out there and it’s great to be able to share just a few stories from successful women in the larger BlackBerry community.”
“The eBook explores not only the highlights of these women’s careers but also how they faced challenges and choices.”
Other women featured include children’s fashion stylist Alethea Gold, pop star Jessica Mauboy, New South Wales Health Minister Jillian Skinner, YWCA CEO Kate Frost as well as Toga Hospitality CEO Rachel Agraman and Intel ANZ’s Kate Burleigh.
