Bunnings Warehouse has taken out the top honour at the inaugural International Customer Service Professionals awards (ISCP), thanks to its delivery on a range of customer service fronts.
Bunnings beat out a number of other major retailers and service providers to scoop the ‘People’s Choice Award’, which was announced on Friday 7 October to mark the end of International Customer Service Week.c
ISCP CEO Tricia Olsen said the awards prove that consumers notice companies that take customer service seriously, and view them positively.
“In an increasingly competitive business environment, Australian consumers expect high levels of customer service, and for their providers to be price competitive.”
Bunnings took out the top award because consumers said their staff are highly knowledgeable and approachable.
A number of other category winners were also announced at the event, including Telstra, for best customer service in the Telecommunications sector, and Commonwealth Bank, for the best service among Banks and Financial Organisations.

Organisations were judged on the basis of feedback from Australian adults collated by research consultancy AMR and customer experience experts, Feedback ASAP, who asked consumers which companies provide the best customer service in Australia across a range of industry sectors.
