After 6 years in the making, Microsoft has confirmed the opening date of its first flagship stores in Sydney and New York.
The Sydney store, opening on November 12th, will be located at Westfield on Pitt Street Mall giving customers and business the opportunity to experience the latest technology from Microsoft and its partners.
Some of the unique store features will include: an Answer Desk – a one stop shop for technical questions, troubleshooting and repairs, the Community Theatre – where customers can learn how to use Microsoft’s latest products, as well as immersive video walls throughout.
Pip Marlow, managing director of Microsoft Australia, said the store spanning two floors and covering 6000 square feet will include a retail space as well as an interactive area to serve local customers and business.
As part of the grand opening festivities in New York and Sydney, Microsoft will donate more than $5 million in software and technology grants to select local organisations in recognition of their work.
